What this bill does

Establishes the Whistleblower Award and Protection Act, which sets forth parameters for granting awards to whistleblowers who provide information regarding securities fraud, and establishes prohibited acts of retaliation. Allows whistleblower awards to be paid from the Securities Prosecution Fund and increases the fund limit to $1 million.
