What this bill does

Allows a public utility district (PUD) to have its own personnel perform work up to $1 million in value through prudent utility management. Allows certain utilities to receive hard copy or electronic bids for public works projects. Allows a PUD to use an alternative purchase contract process and waive competitive bid requirements for certain public works projects.
