What this bill does

Extends the deadline for Benton, Chelan, Cowlitz, Douglas, Franklin, Kittitas, Skamania, Spokane, Walla Walla, and Yakima Counties, and the cities within those counties, to review and revise their comprehensive plans from June 30, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Provides that certain requirements related to design review and accessory dwelling units that are applicable to counties and cities planning under the Growth Management Act must be adopted at the time of the county or city's next comprehensive plan update, rather than six months after the update.
