What this bill does

Requires that the State Building Code Council, by January 1, 2027, exempt school districts with 500 or fewer students in certain counties from Energy Code requirements to include onsite renewable energy generation in new commercial buildings of more than 10,000 square feet of heated or cooled floor space.
