What this bill does

Requires substance use disorder treatment services for incarcerated individuals serving a prison-based drug offender sentencing alternative sentence to be provided by persons licensed by the state, rather than requiring the services to be licensed by the Department of Health (DOH). Requires the Department of Corrections and the DOH to jointly establish and adopt standards for providing behavioral health services to incarcerated individuals.
