What this bill does
Clarifies two trainings provided by the Criminal Justice Training Commission (CJTC) for peace officers on interacting with victims and responding to calls involving sexual violence and gender-based violence. Expands training provided by the CJTC for persons responsible for investigating and prosecuting sexual assault cases to include persons who investigate prohibited conduct at institutions of higher education under Title IX.
