What this bill does
Adopts, substantially, the Uniform Military and Overseas Voters Act to extend to state elections protections found in federal law for service and overseas voters, and updates state statute for conformity. Requires the Secretary of State to explore options for an electronic ballot portal for use by service and overseas voters to return a voted ballot.
