What this bill does

Requires the Washington State Department of Transportation to establish the Educational Transit Access Grant Program, to provide funds to transit agencies for pilot programs to provide free or reduced transit fares to students enrolled in a degree- or certificate-seeking program at community and technical colleges. Provides direction regarding the grant application process. Requires reports to the Transportation Committees of the Legislature regarding each pilot project.
