What this bill does

Extends the date by which the Health Care Authority must submit any state plan amendments or waiver requests to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services that are necessary to implement the Medicaid Access Program (Program) from September 1, 2025, to September 1, 2030. Changes the purpose of the Program so that professional services rates are increased for services that are not reimbursed at or above Medicare rates as of December 31of the prior year by a percentage of corresponding Medicare rates as of December 31 of the prior year. Extends the expiration date of the act from January 1, 2027, to January 1, 2032.
