What this bill does
Requires an applicant for registration as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) to submit an actuarial analysis as part of its application materials if it offers life care contracts. Directs the Office of the Insurance Commissioner to review the actuarial analyses of applicants for registration as a CCRC to determine the applicant's ability to meet its overall contract obligations under its residency agreements in accordance with actuarial standards of practice.
