What this bill does
Authorizes cities to adopt preferential rates for city business and occupation tax. Exempts sales made to a grocery store, farmers market, or other food retailers from the retail sales tax on security and investigative services. Creates business and occupation and property tax preferences for certain grocery stores located in underserved community zones.
