What this bill does
Requires the Health Care Authority (HCA) to apply for a Section 1115 waiver from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide coverage of traditional health care practices. Requires the HCA to provide coverage, upon approval from the CMS, for traditional health care practices received through the Indian Health Service facilities or facilities operated by Tribes or Tribal Organizations.
