What this bill does
Creates the Aviation Assurance Funding Program (Program) within the State Conservation Commission for the purpose of assisting local fire suppression entities with defraying the cost of contracting for private aerial fire response capabilities during the initial attack phase of fighting a wildland fire. Establishes criteria for the award of funding pursuant to the Program.
