What this bill does
Increases eligibility for the maximum Washington College Grant (WCG) award to include students with a family income up to 60 percent of the median family income starting in academic year (AY) 2025-26. Aligns the maximum WCG award at private four-year not-for-profit institutions with the average maximum WCG award at regional public baccalaureates, beginning in AY 2026-27. Modifies WCG for Apprenticeships award amounts to 50 percent of the Community and Technical College maximum award, beginning in AY 2026-27.
