What this bill does

Addresses automatic protections from attachment, execution, and garnishment in nonbankruptcy cases for certain funds held by financial institutions. Requires the Department of Revenue to adjust the other personal property exemption amounts in nonbankruptcy cases every three years based on the consumer price index. Provides an exemption from attachment, execution, and garnishment for alimony or spousal support paid or owed to a debtor, subject to limitations.
