ESSB 5509 — Concerning the siting of child care centers.

What this bill does

Requires child care centers to be permitted as outright permitted uses in all zones except industrial zones. Requires on-site child care centers to be conditionally permitted in industrial and light industrial zones, except in or around high-hazard facilities.
