What this bill does

Exempts school districts and educational service districts from public notice requirements that generally apply for surplus property if selling or granting surplus technology hardware to public school students. Provides that school districts that sell or grant the surplus technology hardware to students should prioritize the receipt of items to students with the greatest need.
