SHB 2114 — Concerning defective license plates issued by the department of licensing.

What this bill does

Requires the Department of Licensing (DOL) to waive fees for a replacement license plate or plates if the license plate is defective, is within 24 months of issuance, and is for the same vehicle. Allows the DOL to waive fees for a replacement license plate or plates if the license plate is defective, is between 2 to 5 years of issuance, and is for the same vehicle.
