What this bill does
Establishes a reforestation grant program at the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to incentivize reforestation after large forest stand replacement events including wildfires and landslides. Appropriates $10 million for the reforestation grant program and $10 million for reforestation on DNR lands impacted by wildfires.
