What this bill does

Requires that medical assistance programs provide coverage for rapid whole genome sequencing for enrollees who are 21 years old and younger in accordance with medical necessity criteria to be adopted by the Health Care Authority. Directs the Collaborative for the Advancement of Telemedicine to report on strategies to promote and expand the use of telemedicine to provide genetic counseling services.
